Online tasting note for reference:

Nose: Seashell and iodine lead, backed by toffee and fudge, along with plenty of salt and sea. Theres also broiled meat, stewed fruits, and seaweed. Notes of caramel, empty wine barrel of dry red wine, smouldering fire. Great intensity, nice smoke, strong caramel notes. Powerful, oily peat, dark chocolate, smoked fish, hints of seaweed, and a curious, sharp herbal note. Waves of spicy, black pepper. Peaty and complex with notes of seaweed, brine, dark chocolate, smoked salmon, and a hint of honey.

Palate: Phenols are very much in the asphalt, tar, and rubber tire arena, with bitter dark chocolate appearing later. Sharp spice, dark chocolate and cinnamon spice, with lots of pepper. This beautiful buttery and caramel layer folds beneath all those wonderful spices. A peppery mouthfeel is followed by a crescendo of rich flavours. Treacle toffee, Turkish coffee, smoky bacon and lots of dark, dark chocolate. A curious burst of peachy, estery fruit, hickory wood, clove oil and a suggestion of black olives. Spicy, smoky, and pungent with notes of clove, peat smoke, bacon, and hints of toffee and dried fruits.

Finish: Long and smooth, with that rich fudge sweetness returning, along with smoke and sprinkles of black pepper and brine. It lasts and lasts. Seemingly lasting forever, with deep, deep, almost subterranean flavours of clove, tar and rich toffee. Very long and smoky with lingering clove, a hint of creosote, and touches of caramel and dark chocolate.
