苏格兰威士忌盗窃案激增 Glenturret蒸馏厂遭窃
苏格兰Perthshire 地区的The Glenturret Distillery 于4月12日凌晨遭窃，多瓶高价威士忌被盗，其中包括The Glenturret 25 Years Old 及Still Life Spring by Lalique。警方接获通报后展开调查，此案为近年来第三起针对苏格兰蒸馏厂的重大盗窃事件。事发后，蒸馏厂宣布暂时关闭，并对造成的不便致歉。
近年苏格兰威士忌产业频繁成为犯罪目标。 2022年1月，Glenfarclas蒸馏厂遭窃，损失包括一瓶稀有60年陈酿；同年12月至隔年1月间，Aberlour蒸馏厂游客商店亦遭闯入，未上市批次酒款被盗。 2024年12月，西约克郡警方更查获一辆载有Johnny Cree 威士忌的货车，逮捕两名嫌犯。
专家指出，稀有与限量版威士忌近年价格飙升，使其成为组织犯罪的新目标。苏格兰警方呼吁民众提供线索，协助侦办The Glenturret 盗窃案。
