스뫼겐(Smögen)은 2009년 변호사이자 위스키 애호가인 페르 칼덴비(Pär Caldenby)가 설립한 스웨덴의 증류소입니다. 스뫼겐은 지역 이름이기도 합니다. 생산량은 많지 않지만, 2019년과 2020년에 출시된 제품들이 위스키펀(Whiskyfun)에서 매우 좋은 평가를 받으며 젊은 증류소로서 주목받기 시작했습니다. 독립 병입 제품으로 만나는 스뫼겐은 매우 희소합니다.

Online tasting note for reference:



Nose:
Dark berries such as blackberries on a tangy, fruity background, with rhubarb, caramelized cane sugar and whole milk chocolate with nuts as well as a fine spice reminiscent of coniferous forests.

Palate:
Full-bodied and dark, spicy, but at the same time gentle and mild with dark chocolate, overripe blackberries and block malt. Then light peat smoke, maritime echoes and spicy pine needles.

Finish:
Dark, fruity and creamy with subtle peat smoke, dark chocolate and finely finished spiciness.
