スモーゲン（Smögen）は、2009年に弁護士でありウイスキー愛好家でもあるPär Caldenbyによって設立されたスウェーデンの蒸留所です。
スモーゲン自体もスウェーデンの地名です。
生産量は多くありませんが、2019年・2020年にWFで非常に優れた成績を収め、この若い蒸留所に注目が集まり始めました。
独立瓶詰（IB）のスモーゲンは、市場でもあまり見かけない希少な銘柄です。

Online tasting note for reference:

Nose:
Dark berries such as blackberries on a tangy, fruity background, with rhubarb, caramelized cane sugar and whole milk chocolate with nuts as well as a fine spice reminiscent of coniferous forests.

Palate:
Full-bodied and dark, spicy, but at the same time gentle and mild with dark chocolate, overripe blackberries and block malt. Then light peat smoke, maritime echoes and spicy pine needles.

Finish:
Dark, fruity and creamy with subtle peat smoke, dark chocolate and finely finished spiciness.
