スモーゲン（Smögen）は、スウェーデンの弁護士でありウイスキー愛好家でもあるペール・カルデンビー氏によって2009年に設立された蒸留所です。スモーゲンとは、スウェーデンの地名でもあります。生産数は多くありませんが、2019年・2020年のリリースがウイスキーファン（Whiskyfun）で高い評価を得たことで、その名が広く知られるようになりました。インディペンデントボトラーズ（IB）としてのスモーゲンは非常に希少です。

Nose:
Dark berries such as blackberries on a tangy, fruity background, with rhubarb, caramelized cane sugar and whole milk chocolate with nuts as well as a fine spice reminiscent of coniferous forests.

Palate:
Full-bodied and dark, spicy, but at the same time gentle and mild with dark chocolate, overripe blackberries and block malt. Then light peat smoke, maritime echoes and spicy pine needles.

Finish:
Dark, fruity and creamy with subtle peat smoke, dark chocolate and finely finished spiciness.
